Base Salary
$139k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development delivery for large-scale or multiple application development efforts involving iOS and Android software.
- Provide architectural guidance and long-term technical strategy for assigned business and technology initiatives.
- Conduct design reviews for Agile and Plan of Record projects and code reviews for Next Gen Architecture projects.
- Develop, promote, and communicate design patterns, best practices, and engineering standards across the organization.
- Guide teams on performance, resource usage, scalability, runtime, load, and memory considerations.
- Partner with TPMs, engineering managers, business owners, and technical stakeholders to assess and mitigate risks, dependencies, blockers, and delivery issues.
- Mentor and coach software development engineers and influence teams beyond the immediate area of focus.
- Track and communicate metrics related to design reviews, code reviews, CI/CD, and design-pattern adoption.
- Support automation of code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in application development or senior-level enterprise architecture experience with subject-matter expertise in one or more areas.
- Bachelor’s or university degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Expertise with Swift, Kotlin, Java, and automation.
- Knowledge of AWS, PCF, Akamai, and Citi’s internal and external cloud platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and networking.
- Knowledge of automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in CI/CD.
- Ability to lead resources, serve as a functional subject-matter expert, provide architectural direction, and influence adoption across teams.
- Understanding of digital software engineering, enterprise architecture, application development methodologies, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to analyze business and technical risks, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and independently drive strategy and delivery.
