Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end ServiceNow architectures across workflows, integrations, data models, user experiences, security controls, and platform capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, implementation approaches, architecture diagrams, data flows, and integration specifications.
- Provide architectural guidance throughout delivery, review technical designs and complex code or configuration changes, and mentor developers and engineers.
- Design reliable integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using APIs, webhooks, event-driven patterns, middleware, and platform-native capabilities.
- Lead architecture workshops and collaborate with product, business, engineering, security, UX, data, and enterprise architecture stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for governed ServiceNow AI and intelligent automation, including Now Assist, Virtual Agent, AI Search, and Predictive Intelligence.
- Participate in architecture governance, technical review boards, platform health initiatives, technical debt reduction, upgrade readiness, and modernization efforts.
- Evaluate buy-versus-build decisions and promote reusable architecture patterns, shared components, and maintainable configuration-first solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 10 years of professional experience.
- 7 years of software engineering, platform engineering, or solution architecture experience.
- 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation, development, or architecture experience.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, configuration, development, administration, upgrades, and core capabilities including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog, Employee Center, and workflow automation.
- Strong integration experience with REST APIs, web services, event-driven patterns, middleware, and enterprise integration concepts.
- Experience designing multi-application, multi-system, multi-data-source, or cross-business-process solutions and producing implementation-ready technical documentation.
- Experience with architecture governance, security, privacy, software delivery controls, and technical tradeoff evaluation.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
- Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Architect, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, or progress toward Certified Technical Architect certification.
- Preferred: experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities, enterprise integration platforms, API management, workflow orchestration, ERP/CRM/HR integrations, regulated environments, TOGAF, and platform modernization.
