Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Python backend services and microservices for high performance and reliability.
- Lead end-to-end development of full-stack applications integrating React frontends with Python backends.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and application delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, architecture, and deliverables.
- Optimize database performance and data models using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Manage Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration for scalable deployment.
- Develop, document, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 to 6 years of software development experience, including substantial Python backend and microservices architecture expertise.
- Proficiency in Python backend development and experience designing microservices architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Proficiency in Golang as a secondary backend language.
- Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Database management and optimization experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience developing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with automated testing using PyTest.
- Hands-on React experience, including React Context and Redux, is preferred.
- Experience with CSS, SCSS, or LESS, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, advanced caching, and performance tuning is preferred.
- Familiarity with security best practices and monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is listed among the desired qualifications.
- Certifications such as PCAP, PCEP, AWS Certified Developer, or Kubernetes Administrator are listed as desired qualifications.
