Base Salary
$51k - $82k/yr
Responsibilities
- Gather software requirements and participate in software design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Develop and analyze telemetry, tracking, and command software solutions that operate with hardware systems.
- Document new and existing programs and maintain program libraries and manuals.
- Customize purchased applications based on research and customer needs.
- Report software and hardware status and availability to management.
- Provide hands-on first-level support to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship with proof of citizenship and ability to access the government worksite.
- Desired experience with OpenVMS, Linux, Windows, SQL databases, Ada, C++, Java, and software design principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, interpersonal, and customer-interaction skills.
