Base Salary
$135k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve proprietary trading tools supporting commodity trading desks.
- Collaborate with developers, technology leaders, traders, and researchers to define technical needs.
- Deliver platform functionality iteratively with technology and business stakeholders.
- Architect greenfield solutions and safely extend and improve established codebases.
- Use AI tools to accelerate development while owning design, verification, edge-case handling, deployment, and production support.
Requirements
- Expected graduation by Summer 2027 with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming experience in C++ and/or Python in Linux environments, ideally involving quantitative or latency-sensitive problems.
- Ability to use AI tools while maintaining ownership of code verification and edge-case handling.
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite at the New York office five days per week.
