Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy AI agents using Google ADK, Vertex AI Agent Builder, and agentic patterns.
- Build and operate AI solutions on Google Cloud, including model training, fine-tuning, vector search, orchestration, deployment, and monitoring.
- Create integrations with Gemini Enterprise, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, enterprise data sources, and business systems.
- Build and maintain MCP servers, connectors, and governed tool integrations for Claude, Gemini, and other models.
- Prototype rapidly with business stakeholders, embed with portfolio teams, and deliver automation within existing workflows.
- Implement responsible AI safeguards covering bias detection, explainability, compliance monitoring, security, privacy, and operational limits.
- Measure production impact, maintain runbooks and monitoring, train business owners, and convert successful solutions into reusable patterns.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or AI/ML solution delivery with demonstrated Google Cloud Platform expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Google Vertex AI, including model deployment, endpoint management, and AI agent development.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals and agentic patterns such as ReAct, planning, tool use, and function calling.
- Proficiency in Python, Google ADK, Vertex AI SDK, and data science libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Experience with Google Cloud services including Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub, plus MLOps practices including Vertex AI Pipelines and CI/CD.
- Demonstrated success deploying AI/ML models and solutions to production on cloud platforms.
- Experience in a forward-deployed role owning business outcomes and integrating AI or automation into enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Working knowledge of at least one non-Google model provider, such as Anthropic Claude or OpenAI, including function calling and tool use.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and operate effectively in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
