Responsibilities
- Architect and construct high-performance, resilient platform features, APIs, and shared frameworks.
- Execute technical spikes to support system stability, modularity, and long-term scalability.
- Lead code reviews, proactive refactoring, and low-latency performance optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Design automated workflows and self-service platform tools that improve developer velocity.
- Author design documents and system guides to maintain architectural alignment across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on Platform Engineering, Enterprise Software Design, or Developer Enablement.
- Hands-on proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, modular design, and high-throughput API development.
- Troubleshooting and observability experience using telemetry, logging, and monitoring tools.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, GitOps, internal developer platforms, and cloud cost optimization.
- Preferred knowledge of enterprise security frameworks including SOC2 or FedRAMP.
- Experience with Salesforce or ServiceNow is valued.
