Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities.
- Design, build, and configure scalable and maintainable applications.
- Act as a subject-matter expert and primary point of contact for application-related activities.
- Make team decisions and contribute to technical decisions across multiple teams.
- Coordinate communication and delivery among cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analyze complex problems and design effective technical solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and provide professional guidance.
- Ensure applications meet project timelines, quality standards, business needs, and performance expectations.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience with Scala.
- Proficiency in Scala, Apache Spark, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong knowledge of functional programming concepts.
- Experience building scalable and maintainable applications using modern software engineering practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Good understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
- Ability to lead technical activities, collaborate across teams, and make effective decisions.
- 15 years of full-time education.
