Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, maintenance, and deployment of software applications.
- Architect, implement, and troubleshoot backend software and scalable solutions in AWS cloud environments.
- Design and integrate AI-driven capabilities and support cloud-based desktop delivery systems.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitLab.
- Lead technical design and implementation across multiple teams and mentor the technical DevSecOps team.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or another scripting language.
- Analyze architectures, requirements, vulnerabilities, and performance issues and recommend technical changes.
- Support Authority to Operate and security accreditation processes in coordination with ISSOs and ISSEs.
- Collaborate with senior technical personnel, program managers, customers, external organizations, and government officials.
- Lead integration of technical processes and methodologies across complex system development assignments.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience; the posting also describes 7 years of collectively relevant experience in its minimum qualifications.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Experience developing, testing, and deploying backend software in Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, TypeScript, or .NET, including Java development.
- Experience with system architecture, software design patterns, systems design, backend frameworks, frontend and API design, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Experience with development lifecycle processes, Agile development, troubleshooting, and resolving technical, functional, and performance issues in cloud environments.
- Experience leading multiple teams in technical design and implementation.
- Preferred AWS Professional or Specialty certifications and experience with AWS GovCloud, C2S, SC2S, EC2, EFS, EBS, SQS, DLQ, Lambda, SNS, and AWS WorkSpaces.
- Preferred experience with Splunk monitoring, triggers, and dashboards; Jira and Confluence administration; and ATO processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the customer and present to government leadership.
- Experience designing, configuring, and implementing AI technologies; scripting with Python, PowerShell, JSON, and YAML.
