Offensive Security Engineer

Responsibilities
- Identify security gaps and vulnerabilities in ClickHouse offerings.
- Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
- Plan and execute internal red team assessments against ClickHouse infrastructure.
- Assess AI-specific attack surfaces and develop relevant security strategies.
- Build and operate tooling for reconnaissance and vulnerability discovery.
- Partner with detection engineering to improve detection coverage.
- Handle information security events and incidents.
- Develop processes and automation to scale security efforts.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in pentesting, red teaming, and product security.
- Experience in threat assessments and assurance activities across distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with offensive security engagements in cloud and application environments.
- Ability to design adversary scenarios based on real threat intelligence.
- Strong communication skills to translate findings for engineering and leadership.
- Experience with agentic and LLM-assisted tooling for offensive security.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM-specific vulnerabilities and testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud service providers and security tools.
