Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs during scoping phases and design technical and application architectures.
- Estimate high-level delivery effort, define possible scenarios, and contribute to decision dossiers.
- Contribute to implementing technical and application architectures and designing data models.
- Assess functional change requests, identify impacts, and provide technical recommendations.
- Support Agile teams through best practices, technical problem-solving, and engineering guidance.
- Contribute to industrialization, technical documentation, and use of DevOps tooling.
- Define and implement data practices covering automated testing, performance optimization, and development quality.
- Verify that implementations comply with technical requirements and maintain architectural consistency.
- Contribute to technical architecture documentation for infrastructure changes and deliver proofs of concept.
Requirements
- Senior-level data experience with strong architectural perspective and the ability to secure technical decisions and ensure development quality.
- Expert-level Apache Spark, Python, and Airflow skills.
- Senior-level SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, GitLab, Jenkins, and Ansible skills.
- Experience with data architecture, GCP, and supporting Agile development teams.
- Ability to guide and federate developer teams, share knowledge, and address complex technical challenges.
- Knowledge of Apache Iceberg, Neo4j, Apache NiFi, and Kubernetes is appreciated.
- The role may require national defense security clearance in accordance with French defense regulations.
