Responsibilities
- Develop new features for projects and products.
- Analyze, upgrade, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications.
- Identify and resolve application performance issues and service degradation with developers and DBAs.
- Deliver application capabilities using unit and integration testing.
- Engage application stakeholders and follow through on solutions and traceable improvements.
- Share knowledge with team members and follow SLB IT standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or another field.
- 0–1 years of knowledge in SDLC, SQL, Java, or Python, with problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Java or Python and at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Python, or Shell Scripting.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Google Cloud, Azure, Angular, or Node.js knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, fluent English, willingness to work across time zones and shifts, and openness to travel.
