Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate production data pipelines ingesting diagnostic, telemetry, and repair-ticket data from Trainium and Inferentia fleets.
- Develop metrics, alarms, and anomaly detection for test regressions, failure-rate shifts, and new failure signatures.
- Build dashboards and visualizations covering failure rates, failure signatures, first-pass yield, and repair latency.
- Analyze fleet-scale data to identify root causes and distinguish hardware faults from software defects and test noise.
- Define evidence standards for moving diagnostics from observation mode into production-blocking decisions.
- Improve data quality and pipeline reliability for downstream consumers.
- Write analyses and design documents for technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with telemetry or diagnostic data from large server fleets, operational time-series metrics, anomaly detection, server hardware, or data center operations.
