Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and troubleshoot software components and enterprise applications.
- Support payment engineering work across development and production support, with emphasis on payment flows and EU payments.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and contribute to decisions for the immediate team and multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and resolve complex issues.
- Mentor team members and facilitate communication around project goals and deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement to optimize development processes and product quality.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Java Enterprise Edition.
- Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
- Proficiency in payment fundamentals and banking.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience building scalable and secure enterprise-level applications.
- Familiarity with modern Java Enterprise Edition development tools and frameworks.
- Experience or proficiency with Java, Cobol, Git, Postman, DBeaver/SQL, Dynatrace, Eclipse, IntelliJ, or Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of payment flows, especially EU payments.
