Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance SAP solutions supporting utility billing and deregulated market operations.
Analyze business requirements with business clients and functional teams and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
Design, develop, and support SAP programs, reports, interfaces, workflows, enhancements, and integrations.
Troubleshoot application defects and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Develop and execute unit test plans and support user acceptance testing.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
Provide day-to-day production support, incident resolution, and operational monitoring.
Support customer nightly batch processing, including occasional after-hours support activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
SAP ABAP development experience.
Working knowledge of SAP development lifecycle processes, transports, and production support activities.
Demonstrated aptitude for software development and technical problem solving.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred SAP IS-U experience, particularly with Billing, Invoicing, FICA, or Deregulation/Customer Choice processes.
Preferred understanding of utility billing processes and competitive retail energy markets.
Preferred experience supporting enterprise production applications and participating in on-call support rotations.
Preferred knowledge or willingness to learn SAP IDOC Processing, EDI Transactions, and Batch Processing.
Preferred knowledge of Data Dictionary, Workflow, ABAP Objects, and performance improvement.
