Responsibilities
- Design and develop software features for mobile credit card applications.
- Build high-performing iOS applications using Swift and iOS toolsets.
- Collaborate with engineering managers and senior engineers across mobile teams.
- Guide and grow junior engineers toward appropriate target architectures.
- Advocate for quality through well-factored, well-tested code and modern engineering practices.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to maximize inner-sourcing opportunities and reduce waste.
- Deliver frequent, high-quality releases in a complex regulated environment.
Requirements
- Senior engineering experience with strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience with Swift and iOS development tools such as Xcode, XCTest, and XCUITest.
- Familiarity with AWS, Jenkins, and Git.
- Ability to guide junior engineers and contribute to target architecture decisions.
- Experience applying quality practices such as pair programming, TDD, and BDD.
- Strong communication, questioning, diplomatic, and collaborative skills.
- Experience spanning backend engineering and mobile ecosystems is beneficial.
