Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software applications using C++ and Qt.
- Develop graphical user interfaces using Qt/QML or Qt Widgets for operator-facing systems.
- Integrate, configure, debug, and deploy software on Linux-based platforms.
- Collaborate with software, systems, test, and integration teams across complex hardware and software environments.
- Troubleshoot UI behavior, system performance, communication interfaces, and platform integration issues.
- Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, testing, release preparation, integration, and validation activities.
- Create and maintain documentation for software design, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience, including hands-on C++ experience in embedded, Linux-based, or device-focused environments.
- Strong experience developing graphical user interfaces with Qt.
- Experience with Linux or Unix-based operating systems, including software integration, debugging, and configuration.
- Understanding of version control, code reviews, testing, debugging, and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills for multidisciplinary technical work.
- Preferred qualifications include modern C++ standards, safety-critical or mission-critical systems experience, communications protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SIP, RTP, or SNMP, advanced Qt capabilities, and system integration or acceptance testing experience.
