Responsibilities
- Analyze existing systems and architectures and derive improvement measures.
- Design customer-specific software architectures and coordinate them with customers remotely and on site.
- Develop high-performance software and make collaborative architecture decisions with project teams.
- Implement specified applications and deployments according to agile principles.
- Use GitHub Copilot and Claude Code in daily development and improve development speed and code quality.
- Establish and improve agentic-coding workflows, AI configuration files, and the use of AI tools across the company.
- Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security vulnerabilities, technical debt, and architectural fit.
- Coach colleagues in agentic-coding tools and modern development practices.
- Share technical knowledge and contribute to the development of the company’s technology stack.
- Support consulting-related business development and actively develop customer relationships.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or university studies in computer science or a related field; interdisciplinary backgrounds are welcome.
- Several years of practical software development experience with responsibility for architecture and technical decisions.
- Strong knowledge of current technologies and frameworks, including Java EE, Spring, Angular, and REST.
- Practical experience with AI-supported development environments, especially GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code.
- Ability to use LLMs for code generation, refactoring, test generation, documentation, and code reviews.
- Understanding of and experience with agentic-coding patterns.
- Experience evaluating new AI tools and models and establishing their effective use within teams.
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, willingness to share expertise, and enjoyment of direct customer interaction.
- Very good German and English language skills.
