Responsibilities
- Collaborate with domain experts to translate business needs into clear and effective LLM prompts.
- Develop, test, and refine prompts for varied use cases to improve output accuracy and relevance.
- Work with software developers to integrate LLM solutions into new and existing applications.
- Contribute to a scalable prompt engineering framework that supports reuse and knowledge sharing.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to improve prompt effectiveness.
- Track LLM advancements and contribute to tool and platform selection decisions.
- Document prompt engineering processes, best practices, and use-case outcomes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of prompt engineering experience and familiarity with OpenAI GPT models, Hugging Face, or similar tools.
- 5+ years of Python or other programming language experience used in AI/ML development.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and data processing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Experience or internships involving NLP or machine learning projects.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Understanding of traditional industry operations and challenges.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and willing to work from Niskayuna, NY or Cambridge, MA.
