Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters, including provisioning, upgrades, hardening, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code and automate internal processes and tools.
- Manage secrets and access policies.
- Implement and evolve observability stacks and analyze system logs.
- Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs with product and engineering teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and incident post-mortems.
- Collaborate with development squads on containerization and CI/CD best practices.
- Support infrastructure cost optimization and FinOps practices across cloud environments.
Requirements
- Solid experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting Kubernetes in production.
- Experience with software development, containers in production, infrastructure as code, observability, log analysis, GitOps, and multiple cloud providers.
- Knowledge of secrets-management tools, SLA/SLO/SLI concepts, SRE reliability culture, FinOps, cloud infrastructure cost optimization, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with the Pkl configuration language.
- Knowledge of generative AI tools applied to day-to-day engineering work.
- Advanced or fluent English and strong communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Kubernetes certifications are preferred.
- Argo CD certification is preferred.
