Lead Software Engineer
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute tactical and strategic roadmaps for test coordination with cross-product teams and external partners.
- Partner with impacted teams, stakeholders, technology peers, product owners, and internal and external business partners.
- Use JIRA to communicate overall progress and provide measurable objectives and progress reports.
- Assess defect status and impact, drive defect closure, and coordinate stakeholder sign-off.
- Identify and implement process improvements and organizational best practices.
- Support Java application development, technical design, project delivery, and continuous upskilling.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- At least 7 years of experience with Core Java, object-oriented programming, and Spring.
- Lead experience in the banking domain with knowledge of data strategies, cloud solutions, and domain-driven approaches.
- BE/B.Tech degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture and the ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
- Experience with Spring Boot, cloud-native development, DevOps, and test-driven development.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Jenkins, Git, JUnit, Karate, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes-based cloud and container development is preferred.
