Responsibilities
- Design, troubleshoot, and implement software code for end-to-end software development.
- Design, develop, enhance, debug, integrate, and implement software applications.
- Troubleshoot production problems and respond to software improvement requests.
- Research, test, build, and coordinate integration of new products based on user requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend application software packages, integration tools, and testing tools.
- Assess and integrate commercial off-the-shelf products.
- Install, demonstrate, test, validate, and evaluate software, tools, methods, and software measurement technologies.
- Implement recommendations that improve documentation and development process standards.
- Interact directly with customers in project environments and technical demonstrations.
- Collaborate across remote and physical locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field, or a high school diploma with at least seven years of directly relevant experience.
- At least five years of directly relevant applications development experience.
- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle practices, code versioning, and maintenance.
- Operational experience with Python.
- Knowledge of software application development and RESTful architecture.
- Experience with data transformation and manipulation through code.
- Experience developing with containerization software, including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience assessing and integrating commercial off-the-shelf products.
- Strong communication and customer-interaction skills.
- Preferred experience with at least two listed technologies or tools, including Python, Silk, JSON, Data Analytics, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Ansible, Vue.js, React, HTML, Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, AWS, View Jazz Framework, Process Automation, UI Development, or CI/CD.
- CSSLP or Sec+ certification is preferred.
- Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance and DHS Suitability.
