Responsibilities
- Design, scope, and independently implement maintainable and efficient software components and systems.
- Lead a pod and drive features across multiple sprints.
- Design and build data integration solutions for the core enterprise product.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
- Improve code structure, product quality, and system performance.
- Maintain code and non-code documentation for assigned components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product enhancements and new features.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience building scalable, highly critical distributed systems.
- B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong object-oriented design skills and ability to apply design patterns.
- Experience with highly concurrent, multithreaded applications and system performance and throughput optimization.
- Understanding of performance trade-offs, load balancing, and engineering for high availability.
- Excellent programming skills in Java, Python, or another popular programming language.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their space and time complexities.
- Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of computer science fundamentals.
