Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, high-performance AWS infrastructure.
- Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance, availability, and security issues.
- Automate infrastructure deployments and configuration management using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Build, run, and troubleshoot Docker containers and administer Linux and Windows systems.
- Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, tracing, security, deployment, and core automation services.
- Implement AWS security controls and best practices and support compliance requirements.
- Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and AWS resource optimization.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams, document technical designs and procedures, and evaluate third-party AWS tools and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
- Hands-on containerization experience, including building Docker images and troubleshooting Docker containers.
- Experience using Python cloud SDK boto3 with AWS service APIs.
- Proficiency with AWS core services including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Understanding of DNS, load balancing, SSL, networking, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance standards including SOC 2, HIPAA, and CIS Benchmarks.
- Familiarity with web services, technologies, architectures, and reliability practices.
- Strong AWS infrastructure troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
