Responsibilities
- Develop and architect backend Java software applications for critical defense-industry projects.
- Contribute to software projects where quality, reliability, and innovation are central requirements.
- Work with the team’s Java technology stack and support the migration from Java 8 to Java 11, followed by Java 17 and Java 21.
- Use software development, testing, continuous integration, code-quality, and issue-tracking tools.
- Follow the procedures required to obtain the necessary security clearance.
Requirements
- Engineering-school diploma or Master’s degree in computer science (Bac+5).
- Experience with Java, including Java 8 and migration toward Java 11, Java 17, and Java 21.
- Knowledge of OSGi, Spring-like dependency injection, Swing, and JavaFX.
- Knowledge of SQLite, H2, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Mantis, JUnit 5, and Mockito.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Rigor, discretion, leadership, and commitment in an environment subject to strict rules.
- Willingness to complete the procedures necessary to obtain the required security clearance.
