Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for various validation scenarios.
- Validate software across prototype devices, builds, and release pipelines.
- Review automated test results and investigate failures.
- Expand automated test coverage for critical functionality and release-blocking risks.
- Contribute to scalable automation frameworks and CI/CD test integration.
- Deploy and maintain prototype devices or test environments for automated testing.
- Conduct automated smoke tests to confirm readiness.
- Document and escalate defects and quality risks.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, procedures, and execution reports.
- Communicate test status and quality risks with project leadership.
- Support release validation and post-release verification.
- Adapt to changing priorities while driving technical work to completion.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering or development experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in software testing or test automation.
- 1+ year of hands-on automated testing experience.
- 3+ years of experience independently driving technical work.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated test suites.
- Proficient in writing code and debugging software issues.
- Experience testing software across builds and environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD test integration.
- Experience creating and maintaining test documentation.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teams.
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Redmond, WA.
