Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend applications and REST-like APIs for web, device, robotics, and automation clients.
- Develop features and improvements for warehouse, internal, and customer-facing fulfillment systems.
- Design applications to handle concurrency, race conditions, high availability, failover, and autoscaling.
- Optimize SQL queries and work with large-scale databases.
- Write and maintain integration, acceptance, end-to-end, static-analysis, and code-coverage checks.
- Participate in code reviews, CI verification, QA collaboration, and frequent Kubernetes deployments.
- Contribute to open-source tools and documentation for application endpoints.
Requirements
- Skilled PHP development experience is required for the backend engineering role.
- Experience or familiarity with the listed PHP, backend, database, messaging, containerization, orchestration, testing, and monitoring technologies is relevant.
- Ability to work with concurrent systems, large databases, automated testing, code quality checks, and scalable services.
- Ability to collaborate with experienced product development, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
