Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the QA Architect to implement testing frameworks and automated tests.
- Develop and maintain automation code for performance, security, integration, regression, and functional testing.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for software products.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Work with development teams on testable, high-quality code, code reviews, and design sessions.
- Diagnose bugs and provide detailed information to development teams for resolution.
- Advocate for testability and SDET and QA best practices throughout software design and implementation.
- Use cloud platforms and cloud-specific tools to improve testing processes.
- Create and maintain test data and test environments.
- Provide testing input on system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Stay current with software testing and engineering trends and share improvement insights with the team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Demonstrated experience testing large-scale software systems.
- Expertise with automated testing tools and scripting languages.
- Proficiency with automated testing frameworks and tools suitable for cloud applications.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and familiarity with compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is preferred.
