Base Salary

$91k - $145k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI/ML-enabled features and products.
  • Conduct literature reviews, original research, experiments, prototyping, and technical presentations of findings.
  • Identify software requirements and document architectural options for reusable platforms and deployments.
  • Implement prototypes and product software primarily for embedded systems, with additional work across mobile, desktop, cloud, and database applications.
  • Develop, optimize, test, and validate software for real-time, semi-latent, and offline applications.
  • Automate measurement of AI and algorithmic features against defined metrics.
  • Mentor, coach, and monitor less experienced engineers and participate in code reviews.
  • Document software approaches, contribute to intellectual property, and participate in working groups and innovation activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field with a minimum of two years of related experience, or a master’s degree.
  • Proficiency in C++ and one or more additional high-level programming languages such as Python, Rust, or Java.
  • Proficiency in software development principles, design patterns, object-oriented design, and multithreaded real-time applications.
  • Experience with embedded software development, Mac and PC application development, mobile apps, or cloud-based applications and services.
  • Working knowledge of signal processing, computer vision, and machine learning.
  • Experience with real-time video processing, encoding, or transmission; Embedded Linux or AOSP development; GPU programming; or hardware deep learning accelerators is highly desirable.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
