Responsibilities
- Support Peraton’s Internal Research & Development program in a Strategic Innovation Center.
- Contribute to requirements and story development, software architecture and design, software development, and unit/component testing.
- Work collaboratively with full-time staff on advanced research projects across multiple technical and mission domains.
- Work in an Agile software development environment.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship, a high school diploma, and some advanced-level training.
- Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational experience with an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java, and exposure to software engineering processes.
- Familiarity with software development or scripting languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Bash.
- Hands-on programming experience through coursework or prior internships.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, oral communication, adaptability, independence, attention to detail, and teamwork.
- Preferred: GPA of 3.0 or higher, exposure to Agile software development processes, familiarity with web development frameworks or database technologies, and exposure to cloud computing environments.
Benefits
