Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, and deploy maintainable software features across the full development lifecycle for Amazon WorkSpaces.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and cross-functional AWS partners to define technical solutions and long-term architecture.
  • Identify root causes of operational issues and deliver permanent fixes that improve system reliability and performance.
  • Coach engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
  • Evaluate technologies and approaches to improve WorkSpaces scalability, security, and developer productivity.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience covering coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems.
