Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance distributed systems.
- Own and document solution architectures and communicate technical approaches and value propositions.
- Drive feature and component delivery through planning, execution, and resolution of complex challenges.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews and uphold quality, security, and performance standards.
- Mentor and develop engineers while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Optimize platform features for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate execution.
- Contribute to the technical vision, product roadmap, and architectural strategy.
- Triage, mitigate, and resolve customer issues and help establish a strong on-call culture.
- Champion platform ownership, customer support, uptime, reliability, and service health practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience delivering complex technology solutions, including architecture, platform development, consulting, or deep technical expertise in areas such as distributed systems.
- 10+ years of experience working in fast-paced environments while navigating ambiguity and driving outcomes.
- Proven experience shipping large-scale, distributed cloud-based software solutions.
- Strong hands-on full-stack experience with C#, Java, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Preferred: full-stack development experience across the portal and all layers of the offering.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred: experience with nsjail, Firecracker, and Microsoft Orleans.
- Preferred: familiarity with vector databases, semantic search, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred: knowledge of reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, or multi-agent systems.
- Preferred: experience interviewing, hiring, and mentoring full-stack engineers and establishing team culture.
