Responsibilities
- Analyze customer functional requirements and break them down for other responsible contributors.
- Design solutions for customer requirements.
- Implement application software using the ASCET tool.
- Perform unit and component testing for each software release.
- Integrate calibration parameters for function performance.
- Evaluate vehicle-test results.
- Analyze issues reported by stakeholders, technical teams, and customers.
Requirements
- Degree-level education is not explicitly specified, but a major in automotive engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics engineering, electrical-electronics, electronics-telecommunication, or a related field is required.
- Basic knowledge of C/C++ and MATLAB programming is required.
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems, including microcontrollers, sensors, ADCs, timers, interrupts, and memory, is required.
- Interest in automotive technologies such as ABS, ESP, AEB, and ACC is required.
- Strong time management, responsibility, teamwork, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Good English communication skills are required.
- Automotive systems knowledge, car-driving experience, understanding of V-model and software review methods, and Japanese-language ability are advantageous.
