Base Salary

$168k - $231k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design firmware architecture and solutions aligned with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Write, test, debug, and maintain firmware primarily in C and C++ for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
  • Lead firmware projects, including timelines, resources, and collaboration with hardware and software teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Integrate firmware with hardware components in collaboration with hardware engineers.
  • Identify and resolve complex firmware issues and bugs through detailed analysis and creative problem solving.
  • Create and maintain design specifications, user manuals, and other technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience developing firmware for embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in C and C++.
  • Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded systems, and hardware integration.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proven experience leading complex projects from concept through completion.
