Base Salary
$168k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design firmware architecture and solutions aligned with project requirements and industry standards.
- Write, test, debug, and maintain firmware primarily in C and C++ for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
- Lead firmware projects, including timelines, resources, and collaboration with hardware and software teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Integrate firmware with hardware components in collaboration with hardware engineers.
- Identify and resolve complex firmware issues and bugs through detailed analysis and creative problem solving.
- Create and maintain design specifications, user manuals, and other technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience developing firmware for embedded systems.
- Proficiency in C and C++.
- Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded systems, and hardware integration.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proven experience leading complex projects from concept through completion.
