Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, troubleshoots, reviews, and debugs secure, high-quality production software.
- Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with validation standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
- Identifies and automates recurring remediation opportunities to improve application and system stability.
- Leads evaluations of vendor, startup, and internal architectural solutions.
- Leads software engineering communities of practice and promotes new technologies.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and React.
- Experience with automation, continuous delivery methods, and the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Advanced understanding of application resiliency and security practices.
- Experience in a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
- In-depth knowledge of financial-services industry IT systems and practical cloud-native experience.
- Preferred qualifications include large-scale enterprise application support, production support, operational management, application modernization, regulated or financial-services experience, SRE/DevOps or production engineering, and incident management.
