Responsibilities
- Perform operational duties including application server health and service recycling.
- Identify and resolve operational issues such as batch failures and network issues.
- Monitor server performance, memory utilization, CPU, file systems, and databases.
- Maintain operational documentation including incident tracking and run books.
- Produce metric reports including daily production status.
- Review client support tickets and requests under service SLAs.
- Resolve level 2 and level 3 issues related to application support and databases.
- Provide on-call off-hour support and work during non-prime shift hours.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in application/production support in cloud-based hosting.
- Experience with Azure or AWS.
- Proficiency in Unix, Linux, Windows, Tomcat, SSH, and scripting.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
- Understanding of complex process and data flow.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with application debugging and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with application security compliance best practices.
- Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams.
- Must be able to provide on-call off-hour support.
