Guidewire SoftwareResponsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution and technical architecture for complex Guidewire InsuranceSuite programs across LATAM.
- Translate customer business requirements into maintainable designs covering configuration, integration, data, and cloud operations.
- Own architecture decisions involving data models, integration patterns, performance, resilience, extensibility, and non-functional requirements.
- Review technical designs, configuration approaches, and integration specifications from project teams and partners.
- Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and data issues; perform design and code reviews; and mentor architects and consultants.
- Define reusable implementation patterns, accelerators, and best practices to improve delivery quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product, R&D, and Cloud teams to provide field feedback and align solutions with Guidewire Cloud Platform capabilities.
- Manage technical risks and contribute to estimation, scoping, planning, and dependency assessment for engagements.
- Advise customer and partner technical leaders through architecture workshops and documented technical decisions.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise software implementation or architecture, including large-scale transformation or core system projects.
- At least 4 years of hands-on Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementation experience, including configuration and integration with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Strong expertise in Gosu, Java, or a similar object-oriented language, with understanding of REST/SOAP integrations, messaging, and batch processing.
- Experience designing end-to-end architectures covering configuration, integrations, data migration considerations, and non-functional requirements.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Guidewire Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure, including environments, deployments, and operations.
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance concepts and their mapping to InsuranceSuite.
- Strong communication and consulting skills, including leading technical workshops and explaining trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery environments and distributed teams.
- Advanced English communication skills and Spanish and/or Portuguese in addition to English.
- Based in Brazil, able to work remotely aligned with LATAM customer time zones, and able to travel occasionally for workshops.
- Preferred qualifications include Senior or Lead Architect experience on large multi-vendor programs, Guidewire or cloud certifications, InsuranceSuite performance tuning, reusable accelerator development, mentoring experience, and exposure to AI-assisted development or automation.
