Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug firmware for wireless devices and embedded Linux-based systems.
- Develop software for MCUs, wireless SoCs, RTOS or bare-metal environments, and embedded Linux platforms.
- Integrate IoT devices into existing ecosystems and develop connected-device products such as gateways, sensors, wearables, and smart devices.
- Define, document, and implement software product subsystems while supporting and optimizing existing codebases.
- Work directly with client teams and participate in technical meetings and discussions.
- Communicate effectively with distributed development teams and recognize customer needs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- BS degree.
- Excellent C/C++ software development skills.
- Experience developing and debugging firmware for MCU, OS-less, RTOS, or embedded Linux environments, or experience developing Linux software on hardware platforms.
- Ability to independently develop software product components and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to understand and support an existing codebase and design, document, and implement subsystems.
- Technical English proficiency.
- Preferred experience includes communication protocols such as UART, USB, TCP, UDP, TLS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MQTT, HTTP, and Modbus.
- Preferred experience includes Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Z-Wave, FreeRTOS, Zephyr, Linux application or kernel development, cloud-service integration, Python or other scripting languages, technical team management, code optimization, Unix-like systems administration, and distributed-team work.
- Fluent English is preferred or required as stated in the posting.
