Responsibilities
- Own one or more automation projects from prototype to working tool with guidance from a technical mentor.
- Design and build agents by selecting reliable sources, tools, and prompting strategies.
- Evaluate agent performance against prepared evaluation sets, track accuracy, and iterate on improvements.
- Produce clear outputs that enable the team to approve, reject, or adjust proposed changes.
- Document the work so the team can continue running and extending the automation after the internship.
Requirements
- Write clean, well-structured Python or a similar programming language and work comfortably with APIs and data.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience building with LLMs, agents, and tool-use workflows through frameworks, MCP, or custom orchestration code.
- Use LLMs and AI coding tools regularly while understanding their strengths and failure modes.
- Apply data-quality, validation, and edge-case considerations to automation work.
- Communicate clearly in English about what was built, why it was built, and how well it works.
- Preferred experience includes knowledge graphs, entity resolution, record linkage, web research automation, scraping, retrieval-augmented generation, financial markets, or company data.
