Responsibilities
- Build relationships with Engineering Managers and leadership to champion engineering excellence and adoption of modern quality practices.
- Pair with engineering teams on active work to improve delivery quality and establish self-sustaining practices.
- Promote self-service quality tools and guardrails within engineering teams’ daily operations.
- Create quality tools and frameworks based on insights from team collaboration.
- Analyze quality indicator metrics, identify trends, handle ad-hoc analytical requests, and communicate actionable insights.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Engineering, or Developer Experience.
- Proven experience leading cross-team initiatives and driving process improvements through collaboration.
- Ability to build strong relationships with Engineering Managers and influence the broader product organization.
- Highly autonomous, persistent, and comfortable working in a small team and driving initiatives independently.
- Hands-on familiarity with modern technology stacks including TypeScript, Playwright, GitHub Actions, and SQL databases.
- Strong familiarity with using LLMs to accelerate development workflows and coaching others on safe and efficient AI use.
- Comfort with rapid discovery, prototyping, internal customer feedback, and adapting approaches based on findings.
- Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from the Helsinki office three days per week.
