Responsibilities
- Integrate security practices across the SDLC while collaborating with development, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Perform SAST and DAST, assist with vulnerability remediation, and administer and optimize application security platforms.
- Support application penetration testing, analyze findings, and coordinate remediation plans with development teams.
- Assess risks for web applications, APIs, and microservices and act as a liaison between penetration testers and developers.
- Contribute to security automation within CI/CD pipelines.
- Support container security through image scanning, vulnerability identification, and policy enforcement.
Requirements
- University or college degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Software Engineering, or a related technology field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Application Security, Cyber Security, or DevSecOps.
- Hands-on familiarity with SAST, DAST, SCA, WAF, and vulnerability management tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern application architectures, including APIs, microservices, containers, and cloud.
- Experience with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, ASVS, and application security best practices.
- Experience with container image scanning tools such as Trivy or Clair is an asset.
- GWAPT, GWEB, eWPT, AZ-500, SC-200, CEH, or equivalent certifications are desirable.
- Excellent written and spoken Greek and English.
