Responsibilities
- Write, test, and debug software for complex and critical components.
- Collaborate on requirements, design reviews, code reviews, and project delivery.
- Provide domain-specific technical expertise and support to the team.
- Research and propose solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Define software requirements and specifications.
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues with operations and support teams.
- Assess and adopt new technologies and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members through guidance and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a similar role or relevant software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
- Strong programming, debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
- Advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or training are preferred.
