Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and fine-tune machine learning algorithms and foundational models.
- Collect, sanitize, analyze, and engineer features from datasets for machine learning applications.
- Test, debug, document, and verify ML codebases and pipelines.
- Support integration and operationalization of trained models in enterprise applications using containerization, artifact tracking, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and domain specialists to translate business requirements into defined ML tasks and delivery milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Strong conceptual understanding of machine learning theory, evaluation metrics, statistical techniques, and foundational deep learning concepts.
- Strong Python programming skills with practical experience using NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
- Understanding of data structures, data modeling principles, and software engineering practices for clean, modular code.
- Ability to troubleshoot defined-scope problems using structured engineering methodologies.
- Preferred familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP and their AI/ML services.
- Preferred experience with Git, Linux CLI, Bash scripting, generative AI models, transformer architectures, and large language models.
- Early production-oriented ML experience through capstone projects, research publications, or GitHub repositories is preferred.
