Responsibilities
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in Development, Quality Assurance, and Production environments.
- Build creative engineering solutions to optimize existing systems and automate tasks.
- Implement strategies to increase service reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on observability throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Must be a motivated self-starter with attention to detail.
- 5 years experience with Linux system administration.
- 3+ years’ experience with AWS/Cloud infrastructure.
- Proven ability to automate common administration tasks.
- Team-oriented performer focused on organizational goals.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- 2+ years’ experience with scripting, e.g., shell, python.
- 2+ years’ experience with configuration management and automation.
- Experience with large network and systems infrastructure.
- Ability to participate in after-hours maintenance windows.
- Ability to respond to critical needs or outages 24x7.
