Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop computer software systems, game platforms, and new protocols.
- Formulate software designs using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
- Analyze software requirements, feasibility, time constraints, and cost constraints.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, artists, and other teams to meet quality and market criteria.
- Analyze emerging technologies and contribute to the technical vision of projects and product lines.
- Use Copilot and Claude Code to support coding, debugging, documentation, testing, and knowledge acquisition while validating AI-generated recommendations.
- Evaluate hardware-software interfaces and overall operational and performance requirements with hardware engineers.
- Develop software testing procedures, programming, and technical documentation.
- Report discrepancies or problems to senior managers and support software manuals and product-release schedules.
- Comply with regulatory guidelines, corporate policies, confidentiality requirements, and game development timelines.
Requirements
- Software engineering responsibilities require system design, programming, testing, documentation, and collaboration with hardware and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work autonomously while following department and company policies and procedures.
- Ability to work accurately and effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and positive working relationships.
- Must be flexible to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Must be able to work at the assigned location and remain seated at a computer terminal for extended periods.
- Minimal travel of 0–10% or as business requires; a valid driver’s license is required.
- Must tolerate varying noise, temperature, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality during certain business trips, including areas with secondhand smoke.
