Responsibilities
- Lead the development, fine-tuning, instruction tuning, and domain adaptation of language models.
- Evaluate model outputs, analyze behavior, and implement improvements using feedback and evaluation metrics.
- Develop, deploy, integrate, and optimize cloud-based AI applications.
- Apply prompt engineering, context engineering, preprocessing, embedding, chunking, and real-time data integration strategies.
- Design and use retrieval-augmented and agentic AI architectures in Azure environments.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional model development efforts.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience with Large Language Models.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in Large Language Models, Java, and Python.
- Experience with Machine Learning is preferred.
- Experience with AI application development, cloud-based model integration, deployment, and optimization.
- Experience with Spring AI, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Agno, Pydantic, and TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services for AI, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Search.
- Knowledge of advanced AI architecture patterns including RAG, Agentic RAG, MCP, Functional Calling, and A2A.
- Experience with prompt engineering, context engineering, vector databases, embedding and chunking strategies, and real-time data integration.
- Strong understanding of natural language processing, model fine-tuning, data preprocessing, and domain adaptation.
