Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, marketing, and other partners to advance business and engineering platform goals.
- Identify opportunities and oversee complex, multi-phase projects across multiple teams and platforms from concept through implementation.
- Build features across backend, frontend, and potentially mobile technology stacks.
- Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and high-quality delivery.
- Mentor engineers on technical judgment and product judgment.
- Support teams at the pillar level on short-term execution and long-term strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript.
- Comfort with agentic coding tools.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and similar frameworks or libraries.
- Experience driving product improvements end to end, including determining which problems to solve and how to solve them.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong curiosity about technology and new tools for solving real problems.
Benefits
- Base pay range of $190,500 to $262,000 per year in Canada, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
- Hybrid schedule requiring office attendance three days per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one flex day; remote work is available for up to four weeks per year.
