Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and execute software for embedded target hardware.
- Design and implement C and C++ software for embedded Real-Time Operating Systems.
- Collaborate with systems, firmware, hardware, and software engineering teams on interfaces and system performance requirements.
- Design, document, develop, and test software components according to established processes, coding standards, and guidelines.
- Support requirements analysis, design, implementation, hardware/software integration, and formal testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and resolve defects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- At least four years of relevant professional experience in computer or software engineering.
- At least four years of professional C/C++ development experience.
- Ability to obtain a Department of War Security Clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with RTOS and DOORS, experience developing device drivers and Board Support Packages, proficiency with modern C++, Python test scripting experience, and familiarity with Scrum and Kanban.
