Responsibilities
- Scale the mobile app architecture for quality, maintainability, and growing user demand.
- Improve and own the app release process to support a transition from bi-weekly to weekly deployments.
- Build reusable mobile patterns, tooling, and documentation for engineers across Mollie.
- Support debugging and feature delivery for teams using AppCore foundations.
- Own and evolve the Mollie UI design system across web and mobile.
- Rebuild and improve mobile navigation architecture and visual experience.
- Improve application accessibility in line with compliance standards.
- Strengthen testing practices and automation to improve reliability and reduce regressions.
- Own upsell infrastructure and in-app messaging for targeted campaigns and product activation.
- Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure with end-to-end ownership of product delivery.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience developing mobile apps and web applications.
- Hands-on experience with React and/or React Native and a deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and application release processes.
- Comfort with native browser APIs, language primitives, and CSS for implementing interfaces with design system components.
- Experience building or maintaining medium- to large-scale products where code quality, reliability, and performance matter.
- Experience with test-driven development and REST API design.
- Product-first mindset with end-to-end ownership and focus on user experience and measurable outcomes.
- Generalist mindset and strong communication skills.
