Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Provision, manage, and operate EKS clusters through Crossplane.
- Maintain Argo CD GitOps workflows for continuous delivery.
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI pipelines for building, linting, and testing.
- Manage observability infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Build developer tooling, self-service capabilities, and automation that accelerate software delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline deployments and cloud operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of overall experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or cloud infrastructure.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform or infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
- Strong AWS expertise, including networking, IAM, and the EKS ecosystem.
- Experience with Terraform, Crossplane, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience building CI pipelines with GitHub Actions and using Argo CD for GitOps continuous delivery.
- Strong Linux, troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, and automation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of software engineering or related experience; or a relevant master's degree plus 1+ year of experience; or a relevant PhD.
- At least 2 years of academic or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- AWS, CKA, CKAD, or CKS certification and experience with EKS, Helm, Argo CD, GitOps, Prometheus, or Grafana are preferred.
